BBA staff welcome parents and children every morning with a smile! When you meet the staff you will feel the warmth, commitment and infectious enthusiasm. The teachers work hard to build trusting relationships, be consistent, show respect and love the children each day. We understand that we are taking care of your most precious and strive to have open communication with parents/guardians.

My Philosophy
I believe that all children deserve love, attention, and nurturing. Safety and trust ensure an environment that allows children to explore and grow. At Bright Beginnings Academy, we allow children to have hands-on learning experiences that foster age appropriate development. Myself and my staff believe that positive reinforcement is important for children to develop self-esteem, self-awareness, and self-control. Our classrooms encourage children to explore their environment, express themselves in a way that stimulates learning. Most importantly, however, we at BBA believe that children need to have fun!
At Bright Beginnings Academy we recognize that parents and guardians have a difficult schedules and support the parents/guardians to the best of our ability. We recognize the importance of work, and the stress and demands placed on parents. We strive to make it easier on parents by giving them the knowledge that their children are in good hands.
About Us
Hi, I am so HAPPY you are here! My name is Rayna Young. I am the Owner and Director at Bright Beginnings Academy Early Childhood Center in Odessa Missouri. I have two fur babies and an amazing husband who has decided to take on this adventure with me. I have a Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Central Missouri, GO MULES! I have been in an Early Childhood classroom for 8 years and enjoy building relationships with the children and families I serve. I purchased Bright Beginnings Academy in January of 2021 because I want to maintain the high quality of care Victoria has built in our community for the past 10 years. I believe parents need a place to take their children and know they will be receiving a quality educational experience as well as a loving and nurturing environment from teachers that truly care about each child.
